Haryana CM ML Khattar And Cabinet Submit Resignation

Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of Haryana, stepped down from his position on Tuesday morning following a meeting with Governor Bandaru Dattareya.

His resignation, alongside that of his entire cabinet, has sparked speculation about a potential rift within the ruling alliance, particularly concerning seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election.

There are reports suggesting that Khattar, in an unexpected turn of events, might run for office from Karnal. Despite the political turmoil, the BJP, holding 40 out of 90 seats in the Assembly and being the largest single party, believes it can secure the government's formation with the backing of independent MLAs. Previously, the BJP had formed a government through a post-election alliance with Dushyant Chautala's JJP.
